Maurer Gasthaus

We toured the German countryside, near the French border, and visited the small village of Kleinbundenbach.  This is the small farming community where the Maurer family immigrated from back in the mid 1800’s.  We found the Gasthaus that was once run by the Maurer family and was in operation until the death of Albert Maurer.  It was exciting to see the sign still exists!

We stopped at a small Biergarten in another small village on our way back to Ludswigsburg.  The German countryside is beautiful…. rolling green hills with small little villages tucked into valleys. (My photos do not do it justice!)
